Front-End Javascript Expert with strong CSS/HTML skills to wrap-up a project that's a couple pages (US and European)

This job post is looking for someone that I hopefully will use for many months to come. Specific tasks aren't necessarily mentioned here, as I have a bunch of odds and ends front-end tasks — I'm trying to wrap up a project that requires someone to come in and tidy things up.

I am looking for a DETAIL-ORIENTED, organized front-end developer to handle Javascript AND CSS/HTML. There is some possible simple PHP work (however I do have a back-end PHP developer if needed — I'd expect that you've seen a PHP include before and can make sure these function properly; break-out similar code into footer and header PHP include files; as well as possibly a config PHP file that holds some variables that can be easily changed if I were to duplicate code to another domain).

I have some browser extensions that have install userflows (landing pages) that a user clicks a button and a browser window pops. YOUR ajax will detect if the user installs the extension, likely every .5 seconds in the background and you'll likely be looking for [login to view URL] on the user's local machine (as it is a web accessible resource for my extension). [Note: I have the extensions developed and have a developer for my extensions if we need any edits to them]. Meanwhile, there is a div that appears in the parent window — this div is actually pulled in css/html code from a '.html' file on the server. I have not made this work yet, but this is how my competitor has done this. I think this may be done using jQuery, but I'm not sure. Note: this html/css that is display is shown in a specific area of the parent window and may change depending on the user's display/browser size). In Chrome, the browser extension is redirecting browser windows, however the child window needs to some how go out of focus at one point (or maybe the parent window needs focus), then the child window comes back after like 2500ms.

I am basing everything off my competitor's install flow and have a full screencast of it — and also another screencast in which I have the Javascript Console open in Chrome to see what is getting loaded. I can provide this to you.

I have typically found that javascript gurus are not into the nit-picking details of html/css front-end design really. They aren't challenged by it and are more interested in coding challenges. In your reply to this job post please begin by telling me your favorite color. I am looking for someone that pays attention to detail and checks their work over before submitting it to me (it should be bug free, it shouldn't have obvious errors).

If this project is of interest, please apply and I will send you a screencast of my competitor, along with their URL, my current URL implementation (that works but lacks the div embeds I speak about above), and some other details. I'd like someone to look at the competitor's site/code and do your best at explaining to me what you think is going on (I may be wrong with some of what I said regarding how this works) and how/if you can make my site operate similarly to theirs. I want a smooth install flow like they have.
