Hi i had come up with a unique question and solution for a physics problem and i need help making a video solution for the problem
I have a requirement for at-least 2000 non-verbal reasoning questions and possibly more at a later point (Each project will be to deliver a 100 questions and depending on the quality of questions I get I would like to employ the freelancer for a longer period). For this I will need to understand the profile of the bidder to ensure that I will get the quality.
1. Questions will have to be original designs and not copied from any other sources
2. Questions will have to be based on the different types (samples will be provided)
3. The project is for 100 questions at a time
4. Each question should be associated with the answer, brief solution description, type, difficulty level (simple/medium/hard)

I am looking for some help with both ideas and code in Matlab to bring out heartbeat and breathing from a noisy signal which I will supply in a file.

In International trade consignments of milk powder must be tested for bacteria.
Using the Poisson distribution, I can set up a simple spreadsheet to work out the probability using the formula P= 1 -e^- (no of samples (n), weight of sample (w), concentration of bacteria (c)). If I used a value of n=10, w=25 grams and c =0.001 g there is a probability of detecting at least one contaminated sample of 0.22 or 22%. However, I do not know how to do this for the Lognormal distribution.
1.I want to employ a coder to make me two spreadsheets similar to the attached Poisson one, one using the Lognormal Distribution and the other, the Binomial Distribution. This must allow me to vary the sample numbers, sample weights and concentration of bacteria to investigate the probability of at least 1 sample being contaminated.
This will take someone familiar with the area a short time to do. But if you are not familiar you will not be able to do it so please do not bid if you are not familiar with acceptance sampling in microbiology.
2.To avoid wasting your time I want the first milestone to be a spreadsheet using the Binomial Distribution. Please try to do this before bidding. If you cannot do this task in 10 minutes using the information below please do not bid.
Note I plan to cancel the project and ask for help from another coder if you cannot meet milestone 1. If you cannot do milestone 1 in 10 minutes or so you will not be able to do the lognormal calculation where most of the money is.
The equation to be used for the Binomial distribution is D = 1 – [1-P^ (1/n)]
Where D= number of defects, P=the confidence limit and n= number of samples. Note sample mass is not taken into account at this point. You will need to modify this function to incorporate sample weight. Note you only need this equation. No need to think about standard deviation etc. You will need to be familiar with logs to rearrange the equation. Please check your solution using the Poisson calculator the results will be slightly different but close enough. If you are way out then your calculations are wrong.

Regarding lognormal. I have attached a paper by Dahms. They cite an assumed standard deviation of 0.8 log-units. I have no equation. And no more information.

ABOUT YOUR EXCEL CODING
I need to understand the calculations so you cannot use macros or in-built Excel functions e.g. lognormal.distribution. I am also posting a graphic describing the general relationship between sample nos, sample weight and bacterial concentration. This was determined using the Poisson distribution but will help you validate your own work.
