airbnb vrbo tax property rental management
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I own 3 condos/casas in Mexico + manage several others rental properties for other owners/investors. Recently tax rules have changed in Mexico for occupancy tax, IVA and income tax. I have a Mexican company and its clear for the units I own what I need to do, however very complex for non owned properties.
Specifically I would like to configure each property so that:
- for properties I own, airbnb & vrbo withhold and pay all taxes to Mexican government OR they send to me and I set up in QuickBooks so I pay the government periodically (currently every listing behaving a bit differently)
- for properties I dont own, airbnb/vrbo would withhold and pay all taxes to Mexican government, then from the remainder pay me my 12.5% management fee + cleaning fee (my employees manage and do the cleaning), then remainder goes direct to the property owner account.
