Azure ARM Template For

The purpose of this project is to create an Azure ARM template that provisions the required resources described below:

PRIMARY REQUIREMENT
The ability to have groups of VMs, function apps, or container instances be able to make outbound requests originating from the same external IP address.

The reason behind this requirement is that there are external resources we interact with that use a whitelist of IP addresses as part of authentication.
We do not want to have to whitelist multiple IP addresses with them - nor do we want to have to run the entire workload on a single VM.

Deliverable:
ARM Template containing all of the configuration required to automate the setup of:

- new resource group
- 1 Static Public IP Address
- Virtual network
- Public load balancer

In order to verify the work, we will need:

- 2 Debian VMs (to verify that a request to curl ipinfo.io comes from the static IP address)
- 1 docker container instance to verify that a request to curl ipinfo.io comes from the static IP address)
- 1 function app (to verify that a request to curl ipinfo.io comes from the static IP address)

There are a handful of starter ARM Templates having to deal with public load balancers and vnet creation.
I suggest we start there and modify what we need to.

IMPORTANT NOTE
This is the first phase or step of a larger project to build a set of ARM Templates to automate buildout of a secure networking environment on Azure.
Please mention any other Azure automation work you have done in the past - it will help me determine if you are a good fit for the project as a whole.

:) :) Budget is between $150-$200 for this first portion of the script.
Then we will move on to defining the automations for VPN Gateways, Authentication, etc...
