Experienced BigCommerce Application Developer Needed To Create Custom Configurable Product Functionality

We currently manage two ecommerce websites (one on Shopify and one on BigCommerce) where we sell a wide variety of plastic materials in various shapes and sizes (mostly sheets, rods, and tubes).
We are looking to completely rebuild and improve upon our existing “cut-to-size” functionality which we are using on our existing Shopify website in order to make it more maintainable and implement more advanced capabilities on BigCommerce.
Both of our websites rely heavily on this core functionality and will allow us to smoothly migrate our other site over to BigCommerce as a result.

The ultimate goal of this project is to develop an intricate “cut-to-size” feature, which would allow us to set up configurable products in an intuitive way and allow users to configure certain products selecting available options pertinent to each individual product (color, thickness, diameters, etc.), entering their desired dimensions (length and/or width), and adding any optional modifiers directly from a single product page.

A high-level/general overview is as follows:
- Develop a scalable custom product management system which allows for creating and maintaining configurable products with potential conditional/dependent product options, custom fields (used for product filtering), and custom variables per product VARIANT (price/weight per square foot, inventory levels)
- Create a REST API which would allow for the updating of inventory levels/pricing for each variant
- Custom product pages which allow customers to easily and interactively configure products with various different options to meet their exact needs
- Display selected customizations through both interactive images and visual diagrams directly on the product page
- Intricate formula-based pricing calculations (price per square foot in addition to material waste - determined by yield calculations based on what is in stock)
- Dynamic SKU generation based on user input/options selected
- Integrate with ShipperHQ to pass in custom dimensions (based on user input) and calculated weight for each of these products

It should be noted that there are a LOT of moving parts involved and many nuances in this particular project which have been outlined in a comprehensive scope document which will be provided privately.

- Extreme attention to detail and organization
- Ability to communicate and collaborate clearly
