Editor For Fast Paced Crypto Incubation And Marketing Team
We seek a driven and hard-working Editor to oversee content editing and delivery needs in the emerging but fast-paced blockchain technology and cryptocurrency space.
Grow is the go-to marketing and design studio for blockchain startups, launchpads, and venture capital teams.
Our job is to communicate the value of new crypto and blockchain projects, and build a narrative around the business that encourages retail participants to get involved.
We also supply content on demand for 3rd parties, so the ability to work with multiple writing styles is a must.
You'll be working within a close-knit, remote team of researchers, writers, designers, and videographers to create persuasive and influential content for Grow and our clients.
Primary duties include assisting the Content Strategy Director to develop the content plan for each client, executing that content plan, editing the grammar, style, look, and voice of the copy, scripts, and different media produced by the studio, and collaborating with team members to deliver top-tier copy on time.
To perform well in this role requires previous experience in a copy editor role and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, or a related field is preferred.
You will also need to understand the fundamentals of smart contracts, cryptography, crypto-economics, DeFi, and blockchain technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Assist content strategy team in developing content plans and timelines
- Review and edit written content for accuracy, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and syntax.
- Communicate and work with a remote production team, ensuring that all content is edited and published on time.
- Help to develop and update in-house style guides.
- Proficient with Associated Press Style.
- Ensure that all content adheres to the Grow content and compliance guide.
- Edit content for tone, voice, clarity, flow, and structure.
- Manage multiple projects across different industries and verticals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, or related field.
- Previous experience as a Copy Editor is a must.
- Previous experience working in blockchain, finance, or emerging technology preferred
- Excellent communication skills are required.
- Good time management skills and be accountable for your work.
- Proficient in desktop publishing software and Microsoft Office.
