Core java Developer

Responsibilities
• Responsible for timely and high quality of deliverables
• Attains excellent track record in test coverage and code hygiene.
• Collaborate with technology peers and product owners and lead collaborative efforts to ensure a successful end-to-end project delivery
• Ability to translate functional requirements to technical design and requirements
• Perform code reviews, develop and review test scenarios in collaboration with QA
• Strong experience in Core Java, Object Oriented, RDBMS (Oracle), SQL, Spring, ORM (JPA/Hibernate) and Unix Scripts
• Strong experience in web development and modern JS Frameworks (JavaScript, HTML 5, Ember or Angular)
• Experience in architecting and building secure, highly available, resilient, scalable systems leveraging clustering and load balancing of web (Apache), app servers (Tomcat) and messaging systems (Kafka or MQ Series)
• Knowledge of container based development, orchestration, micro services frameworks and tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, Jersey, Swagger) is a plus
• Strong understanding of Agile methodology and leveraging SDLC tools to improve development and testing efficiency (JIRA, Jenkins, GIT, JUnit, Selenium, Lint)
• Experience in aggregation and streaming frameworks (Storm, Spark) is a plus
• Experience using BigData frameworks and NoSQL DBs (Cloudera, Hadoop, Cassandra or H-Base) is a plus
• Banking and payments domain background is a plus
Qualifications
• Proficient in Core Java development skills as well as multiple design
techniques
• Working proficiency in Core Java development toolset to
design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve
software
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies with
ability to work in at least one of the common
frameworks
• Strong understanding of techniques such as
Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test
Driven Development, Cloud Development,
application resiliency and security
• Proficiency in one or more general purpose
programming languages
• Working proficiency in a portion of software
engineering disciplines and demonstrates
understanding of overall software skills including
business analysis, development, testing,
