Litigation Paralegal (California-based only)
Budget: $35 – $45 USD
MUST RESIDE IN CALIFORNIA
Part-time Litigation Paralegal needed for well-established California Attorney, approximately 15-20 hours per week, this candidate should specialize in Civil, Business and Real Estate Litigation. Must be flexible with your time and be readily available Monday thru Friday 8:30-5 pm but the ideal schedule will be three days a week, approximately five hours per day. This could potentially lead to more hours in the very near future. Must have a minimum of six years experience. Knowledge of the California legal system is an absolute must. This is a part time, remote position, so organization, honesty and integrity is paramount. You also must work well independently and with little to no over sight.
The Paralegal's position is to provide litigation support, assisting the attorney with preparation of pleadings, including discovery requests and responses, demurrers, motions to strike, complaints, motions to compel, and the like. Must be familiar with judicial council forms. Must be able to draft pleadings and must have strong written and communication skills. The ideal candidate will work well with limited supervision. He or she also should be highly proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe. Must be detail-oriented, energetic, and an enthusiastic team player, who interacts professionally with clients and their team. This potential new hire would also timely and effectively handle urgent matters with excellent service to clients.
