Magento2 Checkout set custom Address

Set custom address on Magento2 checkout.
I have built a module for custom address book, I have the grid and everything needed and imported a list of Magento adresses (they are all valid, all required fields are filled).
I have issue to set the custom address on the customer (the customer can choose another shipping address from the custom module), but I can't make it to set the address as shipping so I can get rates for the address chosen. I believe the address should be passed with knockout.js, then the chosen address from the address book will display the proper shipping method (as it's different address than the customer address) and it will be displayed on the order,
It's a very quick task for someone who did it previously, or have the enough Magento experience.
