Scope of the Project
Goal of this project is to build a uniform and standardized learning environment keeping data protection regulations established in geographies where the LMS will be rolled out, especially when conducting the courses in online format.
The platform must meet technical implementation to support end users (participants, admins, trainers).
This project may require a custom plugin to be developed to integrate with an existing, internal system that currently handles, including streamlining some of the existing processes (not residing within Moodle)
Course Rate calculation
Handle course catalog publication, including packages, offers etc.
Participant management (registration / registration, cancellation, billing,
Creation of participant lists, etc.)
Handling Certificates in an individual participant area
Management of documents / teaching and learning materials
Trainer/Admins administration
Establishment and initial configuration of a Moodle platform suitable for the above-
mentioned needs with all common, relevant functions and licenses for the implementation of training courses and virtual workspaces (using suitable "Moodle themes", including any paid plugins/themes that are necessary can be procured)
Development and implementation of a course area structure as well as necessary functionalities of the individual courses / shared workspaces (Targeting to launch 75+ courses).
Leveraging existing/available Moodle plugins to integrate with MS Teams.
If necessary, integration of further necessary plugins for the implementation of courses (including, authoring tools (e.g.
H5P tools or comparable), video conference, support ticket system, etc.
The planned courses / content are designed to be platform-independent and must meet general format standards (at least SCORM 2004 / X-API or Experience API).
The LMS will initially start in English.
However, it should be possible to add two more languages (probably Arabic and French) to the platform within 6-12 months of commissioning the platform live.
Deliverables
1) Fully functional, error-free, user friendly/responsive website that meets the requirements specified.
2) Documentation that may assist in the setup/deployment as part of Go-Live
3) Any documentation that may assist internal users in maintaining/support of the website.
4) Participate in internal meetings during requirement gathering, troubleshooting during the deployment to sort out issue and take couple of user training sessions
MUST have skills
1) Moodle LMS, PHP, MySQL
2) Soft Skills: MUST be able to communicate clearly, concisely, in a timely manner (typically within an accepted, turnaround time of a day or max 2-days) for any queries raised.

The project is currently estimated by an internal team to take ~25 days of development (spread over 2-3 months, including time to review, feedback, testing, rollout), and with potential to continue with support, loading/updating courses etc that may go into future for 6-12 months+.
