Classic Guitar Sheet Music for Together We Stand
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I'm wanting to sing and perform the song Together We Stand by Ariana Greenblatt on classic guitar for my upcoming wedding. Though I'm only a guitar beginner, I'll be practicing as much as I can leading up to the day. I would like someone to transcribe the song into classic guitar sheet music for someone who has a similar pitch/tone as David Campbell (from the song "Better than I"). My vocals are more comfortable in the lower/deeper ranges. I'm wanting to make the feel of the song a mix between youthfully playful and nostalgic romance. I like finger-picking style, though I'm open to suggestions (including strumming).
I am not looking for someone to simply find sheet music on google. I want to work together to customise it for me and the atmosphere I want to set, and be willing to make frequent changes as we go. I need someone who is themselves musically creative, and can come up with some original guitar parts, while still staying true to the spirit of the original song. Therefore the person has to be comfortable deviating from the exact music as it currently is.
What I hope the end product to be:
1. Create two versions of sheet music for the song:
a) One is absolutely basic classic guitar that requires almost no skill.
b) A version that requires a little bit more skill (though still possible for a beginner to learn).
2. Be willing to record yourself singing and playing the music (you don't have to be a great singer, I just want to get a sense of what it would sound like). I will need to be sent these recordings for my own practice.
*For this process, patience with me is a must, and I need the person to be willing to engage in ongoing, frequent feedback and modification. This project does not include teaching me. I will find my own guitar teacher to practice with.
