Remote Coordinator - LATIN AMERICAN BASED CANDIDATES ONLY
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
CANDIDATES FROM LATIN AMERICA ARE PREFERABLE.
This is a full-time remote position in a small Canadian company.
Basic info:
Minimum of 2 years experience in a construction project manager/coordinator role
Time Zone preferably similar to Vancouver (Note it can be any time zone, but they need to be willing to work during Vancouver work hours
English needs to be good
Full-time
Needs to be familiar with construction bidding process
Needs to be a very organized individual
Most important skill is problem solving → will need to test for this
University/college degree is an asset
Role includes
Coordinating/managing custom steel projects from the time of winning bid to project completion.
Double-checking bids
Submitting required paperwork
Working with client and detailer to get shop drawings approved
Tracking shop drawing approval stage
Consistent problem solving for issues that arise
Working with shop manager to make sure fabrication is meeting required schedule
Frequent phone calls with clients, staff, and suppliers
Ordering rental equipment
Ordering material
Ordering trucking
Organizing inspectors to come inspect steel welded in-shop and on-site
Maintaining a shop fabrication and install schedule that considers all awarded projects
Dealing with change orders and site instructions.
