Python video stream motion detection
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
Creating a software with the following functions in Python 3
- Management of several different cameras. Access data, IP, port, alarm and other details.
- Motion detection with noise filter etc per camera. Detection of differences in images. No person or object detection necessary.
- When motion is detected, a video is created until no more motion is detected.
- If there is no movement, the current image is refreshed for output every x seconds.
- Save images and videos. Set maximum video length and/or video size per file.
- Create protocol.
Record the total size of the log files (for example 36 video files = 587MB + 37 images = 7MB / Total log Data = 594MB).
If the log file limit of x MB is reached, a new log is created when the next video starts.
1 log per camera.
- Upload module to store images/videos externally. One module, for example via FTP, is sufficient for now. However, it should be possible to expand it later with additional modules.
- Archive function to compress logs older than x hours including all files and put them into the archive / upload them.
- Output module to output files (videos/pictures) password-protected to a GUI. Can also be implemented with a web server.
- It may be that a playlist for the video player still has to be created.
A comprehensive list with details of the individual functions is available on request or after submitting an offer.
It is important that the functions are modular, as they will need to be expanded. There should be different modules for different streams / cameras, which can be selected during setup. It should also be possible to expand the upload or output with additional models at any time.
Long-term project support is desired but not mandatory.
