Full Stack Developer - Ruby on Rails and React

We are looking for a senior full stack developer working with Ruby on Rails and React. This is a 3-6 month contract project where you'll be an important part of a small team with big ambitions: delivering a delightful and engaging circular shopping platform for plus size fashion that helps plus size women find clothing they love, feel more confident and connect with others. The role is fully remote.

We are in the process of building out our current offering with more social and shopping features. Our stack consists of a Ruby on Rails api only application on the backend and a React/Redux/Next.js application on the frontend.

Here's What We're Looking For

A full-stack developer who's comfortable doing everything, from Frontend JavaScript to solving complex backend optimizations, making architectural design decisions and creating a robust user experience.

Experience:

4+ years’ experience building Ruby on Rails applications and react applications
Experience with React/Redux/Next.js.
Strong proficiency writing efficient, scalable and well tested code.
Implementing RESTful APIs and integrating with external services
Comfortable optimizing SQL queries.
Strong communication skills, positive attitude and ability to take ownership over code/features/project
Experience with Docker and Devops is a plus.
