Structural New House Analysis and Design Report
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
My goal is to have a Structural Design Analysis Report produced for a new timber house. I have complete plans available, and the analysis needed is both a gravity and lateral loading analysis. The report should cover graphical representations, calculations and conclusions derived from the detailed analysis. This analysis should closely follow the standards defined by Florida Building Code 2020 residential edition 7. NDS wood design code and ACI concrete code and ASCE-7 loading code. From the report, the building owner should have an understanding of the structural stability and adequacy of the design and have confidence the structure is safe and durable.
The project should correspond directly with the provided designs. The report should be provided in written form along with additional drawings/images/diagrams if necessary. Once completed, the report can also be used for Building Approvals and variations to the existing plans.
I am looking for an experienced engineer who is well versed in residential timber construction to engage on this project. The ideal candidate should be familiar with the relevant regulations, able to work collaboratively, and consistent with their deliverables.
