Svg file tweaking Shaper Origin
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Looking for somone who works with SVG files, who understands Woodworking, engeneering and really basic CNC functionality. Ultimatly these files will be used by Shaper origin.
Looking to insert these trees into a countertop. As of right now we are only using 1,2,3,6,10,16,17,18. If it is an easy process for you to make these good for Origin go ahead and do all of them incase my customer changes his mind but concentrate on only those number if not. They will be about 6-8 inches tall. I would love it if you could optimize these trees to work for origin. My ideal smallest bit would be 1/8” but I do have several 1/16 and I’m assuming I will need them, if we can do it with the 1/8th that would be ideal. Going to inlay curly maple into cherry. My plan is to inlay it thicker than the pocket so we can sand it down flat instead of trying to plane a thin piece with a lot of tear-out.
Feel free to suggest dumbing down any of the pictures if needed. I don’t plan on making any chisel cuts.
If you have any tips that would be great, ex inlay thickness. He is going to use all the trees provided so its not just cookie cutter. The plan is to use ¼” and maybe 1/8” to go around and then use the 1/16 after. What would be the cutter and travel speed I should use, especially for the 1/16” so as not to break it.
