Chemical Lab Technician
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
Light Metals Coloring, a world-class provider of metal finishing and coatings, is looking for an exceptional temporary Chemical Lab Technician. This is an estimated 4 week assignment and is on-site in Southington, CT.
This role
• Provides process control sample collection from anodizing tanks.
• Analyzes collected samples for proper PH, titration and QC.
• Checks levels and temperatures of anodizing tanks daily.
• Modifies chemical parameters and calibrations on equipment as needed.
• Documents test results.
• Cleans out tanks and barrels following required waste removal processes.
To be successful in this role, the right candidate must:
• Be disciplined, results-focused, accurate, detail-oriented, methodical and reliable.
• Proficient in analysis of wet chemical methods.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Proficient in basic math.
• Working knowledge of chemistry and laboratory methods.
• Have 1+ years’ experience in lab functions with manufacturing environments.
